What If My Heat Line Fails?
RSI has completed over 250 heat line replumbs. We take pride in the fact
that we can do a job quickly, affordably, and leave very little indication
we performed major surgery on the dwelling, regardless of the type of
finish work involved.
We believe that only a few heat line pipe products are worth installing.
RSI uses Wirsbo products, which offer a 30-year warranty. The durability
of copper has been proven, although heat expansion can be an issue.
It is RSI's policy to work with the local plumbing and heating
service company on the replumb in order to insure long life of every new
system installed. Our job is to replace all the heat loops with very little
penetration, making sure the repair work is barely noticeable.
It is important to remember that the manifold and the boiler area need
to be regularly serviced by a local heating technician.

This photo illustrates a typical failure in heat delivery
pipe. Notice the split in the pipe near the header.

The oak floor scalloped due to the heat line failure. The sheetrock and
carpeting was molded. RSI performed mold abatement as well as refinishing
the oak floor. This photo shows the first of two coats of sealer applied
to the floor after the damage was repaired.

This photo illustrates repiped fin tube under custom cabinetry.

RSI removed a custom designed mahogany ceiling to gain access to the
replumb area. Upon completion of the replumb, the owner commented that
his ceiling, "looks better now than before we started."

RSI located the transition point and started fresh with WIRSBO. The homeowner
was given a 30-year warranty, and peace of mind.

The photo illustrates the corrosion that occurs when oxygen is induced
into a hydronic heat system. Notice the build up on all of the components.
This system had to be discarded and completely redesigned.

RSI has a policy that includes the old saying, "Where There is a
Will, There is a Way." For the job pictured, we had to enter through
the outside of the home in order to replumb this area. RSI technicians
restored the siding to its original condition.

The technician you see in this photo repairing the sheetrock, is the
same person that cut the hole and performed the replumb.
